À propos de cet événement

Description

Most of us already sense that anxiety, overwhelm, self-doubt and exhaustion are not random failings. They are signals asking us to slow down and treat ourselves with more honesty and care. This three-night meditation and mindfulness retreat at Drala Mountain Center in Red Feather Lakes, Colorado, is built around that idea, and around the practical skills for answering those signals.

Led by international bestselling author and wisdom teacher Blake D. Bauer, the retreat brings together mindfulness meditation, gentle qigong and the cultivation of self-love. Blake's stated commitment is that you will leave knowing how to love yourself, how to heal, how to train your mind, how to trust yourself and how to change your life. It is offered to people who want tools they can use at home, whether they are new to meditation or already practicing.

The mountain setting offers the stillness needed to hear your deeper self, alongside real connection with others who are doing the same work. It is a December gathering, a quiet season in the high country.

What to Expect

The retreat moves between teaching, meditation and movement. Blake shares seven daily habits for valuing yourself, caring for your body and nervous system, and reshaping your health and relationships. Two core self-healing practices anchor the program:

- Mindfulness meditation to train the mind and help you live more fully in the present.
- Gentle qigong exercises and meditations to unlock stuck energy, blood and emotion, and to strengthen vital life force.

Along the way, the program explores:

- How to value yourself in each situation and relationship
- Turning self-doubt into self-esteem, self-worth and self-trust
- Non-violent and mindful communication
- The root causes of depression, anxiety, insecurity, addiction and physical illness
- Compassionately processing past wounds and trauma held in the body
- Overcoming guilt, shame and self-rejection, and forgiving yourself and others
- Transforming limiting beliefs and patterns of self-harm
- Clarifying your direction and understanding your life's purpose

The aim is for participants to leave with clarity about their next steps, personally or professionally, and with a daily practice to sustain it. One past participant, Brad W., said Blake's approach helped him with severe anxiety he had carried since his teenage years.
